Lone Angel

Posted on

I saw him standing at the window,

I couldn’t look away.

His beauty was eerie,

His soul on display.

His irises were alight,

His lips quivered with depth.

I would have given him anything,

Anything I had left.

Just to reach out and touch him,

Grace my fingers with his feelings.

That would be too much though,

Just the thought sends me reeling.

His magnificence is too much,

For me to take in.

This angel by my window,

And me, cloaked in sin.
